Woodwork – Make Your Own Bookcase/Shelves:  Wednesday  7.00 – 9.00 pm (9 weeks)

Have you looked in your pantry and thought there must be a different way of organising it or is there not enough space for your books at home.  Here is an opportunity to do something about this and make a custom-made, small-medium sized bookcase or some shelves to suit your measurements/requirements, while learning some new skills along the way.

Woodwork DIY For All Levels:   Tuesday  7.00 – 9.00 pm (9 weeks)

Use machinery to make your own projects with some tutor guidance. This course is run as a workshop which caters for beginners and those with basic – intermediate woodwork experience.

Hobby Upholstery:    Monday 6.30 – 8.30 pm (8 weeks)

Modern upholstery, teaching deconstruction, construction and finishing techniques.  Bring a small piece of furniture to work on eg dining chair, footstool, headboard, toy-box.

Successful Gardening:   Tuesday 7.00 – 9.00 pm (9 weeks)

This science based, practical course will provide you with information to improve your soil, grow your plants, minimise pest and disease, and treat successfully if necessary, (organically where appropriate). Have fruit and vegetables all year round using the best easy to grow varieties. Learn how to design the ornamental garden. You will get proven facts (not myths) and pointers to the best value plants and products.
