Italian Cooking:     Thursday, 6.00 – 8.00 pm  (4 weeks)

Enjoy the opportunity to learn and cook traditional Italian food, using a variety  of ingredients and different techniques. In this course you will learn the Italian home tradition of an everyday meal using fresh seasonal products that you can easily find in Nelson.

Latin American Cooking:     Thursday, 6.00 – 8.00 pm  (4 weeks)

Take the opportunity to learn and cook real traditional food from a very diverse cuisine that covers Mexico, Central America, The Caribbean and South America. A cuisine based on fresh ingredients, mainly gluten free product and simple techniques to cook wonderful home-made food.  You will learn how to use a variety of products that you can easily find in Nelson but have probably you never used before.

Japanese cuisine is famous and well known for its healthy and creative flavours.  Be inspired to try something new and different by learning hands on how to create Japanese dishes the home style way!

Malaysian Cooking:     Saturday, 9.00 am – 1.00 pm  (2 weeks)

Learn to cook a diversity of the Southeast Asian country of Malaysia.  A primary melange of traditions from its Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indonesians and ethnic Bornean citizens. A symphony of flavours with wonderful fragrances.

Preserve de Taste of SummerOne day Saturday workshop, 10.00 am – 3.00 pm

Preserving is not just jam and chutneys. There is a good variety of techniques and recipes to preserve summer vegetables & fruit. In this unique course you learn how to preserve zucchini, eggplants, capsicums, chili, gherkins, artichokes, and make your own sundried tomatoes plus tomato sauce. You will also learn how to bottle your summer fruits and dry summer herbs.  Hands on learning with demonstrations also given.
